The Hank Poore Foundation was thrilled to award our first grant to Kirill Davis. Kirill is a 16 year old with Down Syndrome and autism who loves camping and riding bikes with his family. We are overjoyed to provide a power assisted adaptive bike so that Kirill can continue to enjoy time outside with his parents, Tesney and Greg and brother Clayton. Now, the Davis family can ride bikes together in Tuscaloosa as well also on family trips instead of Kirill having to stay behind with Kirill, who has outgrown his old adaptive bike. We can't wait to see Kirill out on the Riverwalk in Tuscaloosa living a full, active life with his family and friends.
